Like many of you, my family has so much to be thankful for.

Yesterday was a reminder that there are so many in our country who don’t have what they need. While we were serving meals at the Raul Jimenez Dinner to ensure that 25,000 San Antonians had a hot meal on Thanksgiving, I was reminded of the people I met on the campaign trail who are doing the same in their hometowns.

Like those at Three Square in Las Vegas who are ensuring that residents can put food on the table. Or the YMCA supportive housing campus that I visited back at the beginning of the month in Des Moines.

Today as folks are spending time with family, shopping for sales and recovering from their holidays, we have these communities in need on our minds.

Thank you so much for being with me during this journey, I hope you’ll join me in celebrating the amazing work these organizations do to make sure everyone has a meaningful holiday season.

Many thanks,
Julián Castro

No one like Julián Castro has ever been in the Oval Office. His grandmother immigrated here from Mexico when she was just 7 years old. She never got past the 4th grade, but she provided for her family by working as a maid and a housekeeper.

Now, her grandson is running for President of the United States. Against all odds, grassroots Democrats like YOU helped him qualify for the Democratic debates and sent him to the front of the pack of Democratic candidates.

We know we send you a lot of emails, but that’s because we’re relying on grassroots supporters to overcome our next big challenge:

Julián must be able to compete and build a movement that lasts for the long haul, and he’s not taking a cent of corporate PAC money to do it. Will you be a part of this historic campaign?
