Good morning John,
From Uvalde to Pennsylvania, and with California and Buffalo still on our minds, we are deeply saddened by the routine violence that happens every single day in Pennsylvania and across the country. Whether in mass shootings, in gun violence in our own neighborhoods, in acts of racist hate, or in domestic violence, gun violence impacts all our lives.
The carnage we are witnessing in Uvalde happens on a consistent basis with each passing week and month in communities across the Commonwealth, and our elected leaders must work with urgency to address it.
This is an important reminder that all elections have consequences, which is why we must continue to fight for policies that directly affect our communities every day, long after the news cycle moves on.
We don't need thoughts and prayers, we need legislation from those in power. We need change. We need to vote our values. Show your solidarity to the people of Texas by making a donation to CeaseFire PA [[link removed]] .

The Fight Over Dates and Mail-In Ballots [[link removed]]
It seems like an easy process. Register to vote. Request a mail-in ballot. Receive, complete, sign and return. Yet, Pennsylvania is headed towards a nasty fight over these ballots between deep-pocketed campaigns in the quest to secure the GOP nomination for the open U.S. Senate seat [[link removed]] .
