*Changes to the Highway Code*

Changes to the Highway Code came into force on 29 January. For the official updates, please find them here [ [link removed] ].

Updates on mobile phone use

From Friday 25 March rules in The Highway Code came into force making any hand-held use of a mobile phone while driving illegal, except in limited circumstances. See the updates here [ [link removed] ].

During the Electric Van Experience event at NG2 Business Park on 5 May, a number of local businesses took an accompanied test-drive in a range of electric vehicles before they then were given the chance to loan an electric van for 30 days.

Jubilee Weekend

If you are out and about over the Jubilee Weekend, please be aware that public transport operators will be running different services to normal. This may be Sunday service or an altered Jubilee Weekend timetable. Please check your local operator before travelling.

*Bus Services:* Please check your journey with your local operator before travelling over the Jubilee Weekend. Operators will be running a different timetable to normal. Please check before you travel. 

*Rail Services:* Rail services are expected to run as normal over the Jubilee Weekend. Projects taking place over the bank holiday will be maintenance works that will cause no disruption to you or freight services. For further information, please see Network Rail's page [ [link removed] ]. 

*Tram Services:* NET will be running a Sunday service on 2 & 3 June.

Welcome to Nottingham Contactless! [ [link removed] ] The Tap & Go option is available across *Nottingham City Transport* buses,* Linkbuses *operated by CT4N and *NET* trams. There might be disruption to services due to driver availability issues. Please check service providers for the most up to date information. 

Rail services ??

*Northern:* Sunday (29/05) Sheffield-Nottingham, trains will not call at Dronfield. Rail replacement bus service between Sheffield - Chesterfield. Please check your journey before travelling. Check Northern's website [ [link removed] ] for service updates.

*Football travel information - EMR:* Nottingham Forest are in the playoff at Wembley so EMR are expecting trains to be crowded over the weekend as fans travel down to London for the match. Please see EMR's website [ [link removed] ] for some helpful travel options to consider when travelling to London St Pancras this weekend. You can also find service updates on their social media channels.

All operators in the city continue to clean vehicles thoroughly on a regular basis, and windows on buses will be kept open for ventilation.
