I am appalled. Once again ignoring the opinions of working Kansans, our opponent has gone on a local political show to explain that she doesn’t support access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare even in cases of rape or incest.
I can’t be surprised though. Why would Amanda Adkins care about what matters to Kansans when her family is willing to spend millions to prop up her campaign in the run up to November?
She’s not accountable to the voters because she simply doesn’t care about them. Now, we have to do everything in our power to keep her from winning in our critical toss up race.
We went up against Amanda Adkins and her self-funded campaign before and won by 10 points. If we keep the pedal to the metal now, I know we can again.
You heard the news that the congressional maps that are partisanly drawn by Brownback-Republicans have been upheld. My opponent believes this will help her win, but she doesn’t know the people of the Third District like we do.
We will win by focusing on the issues that matter most to Kansans and by reaching across the aisle to solve the biggest problems of the day, just like we did last time we beat the same opponent (our district is 92% the same as it was then!).
