NAL is inspired by the new BIPOC leaders aspiring to leadership at every level of our democracy. They are joining you in challenging outdated ideas of who can and should lead and delivering the courageous leadership needed now. I am proud to share that in 2022, over 30% of our training alumni are LGBTQ+, and over 85% identify as a first or second generation American. NAL has been fortunate to motivate and accompany hundreds of New American and LGBTQ+ folks on their journeys into public service. After ten years of building up New American political infrastructure, we are amassing power for our communities in places like New York City; Dearborn, Michigan; Cambridge, Massachusetts; and beyond.
