At Girls For A Change, we prepare Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls, which means we got you when it comes to making moves and transitions as you enter into womanhood. New this year to Camp Diva Leadership Academy, our Mission In Bloom program was designed to help prepare rising 9th grade girls for their next step: High School!
Moving on up to High School is a big change and we have lots of fun ways to help make that transition flawless.
Our Mission In Bloom curriculum includes

A Bridge Coach to help with social and emotional, making friends, keeping connections, supporting each other, selecting classes and

Bringing in people from the schools to offer advice

Finding your own style - how do you redefine and renown yourself

They will be together by themselves, not grouped with other groups

Bonus field trip every Tuesday

Genisus will be doing specialized workshops Mondays and accompanies them on trips Tuesdays

Overnight night trip in Wintergreen last week of camp - Ashley takes the girls on a hike

All girls will receive a virtual mentor for the year from Best You and they go on a trip at the end of the year and go on a college tour
