This is the worst time for me to fall short of my can't-miss goal. Rubio and the GOP just launched a new attack ad campaign against me with the goal of flipping Florida red permanently. And the Senate Republican campaign arm has already raised more than $51 million just this year to flip the Senate for Mitch McConnell.

So even though The Miami Times reported that I'm closing the gap in the polls, I have a steep mountain to climb to catch up to the GOP's advantage in Florida.

Since this grassroots team is so strong, I know that if we muster our willpower and dig deep, we will flip Florida blue. And right now, digging deep means hitting these grassroots fundraising goals today and all the way to Election Day.
