Hey Team,

Thanks to Congresswoman Plaskett, the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health’s Charles Harwood Medical Complex will receive a $251 million grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)!

This critical investment will make it possible to rebuild the damage done to the complex by Hurricane Maria — a feat made possible by Congresswoman Plaskett’s leadership as she spearheaded a summit between FEMA, professional staff from the Appropriations Committee, and Governor Bryan’s team to make a deal.

This win further demonstrates the importance of fighting for what rightly belongs to Virgin Islanders. Congresswoman Plaskett is a tireless advocate for our best interests, so I have to ask: Will you chip in now to fund her re-election campaign? [[link removed]]

These long-overdue funds from FEMA will empower the V.I. Department of Health to ensure all buildings within the complex aren’t just rebuilt as they were but are up to all current health codes and building standards.

Safe and accessible medical care shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a right, and Congresswoman Plaskett will continue to fight in Washington for what we rightfully deserve.

If you’re with us, donate today to re-elect Congresswoman Plaskett and protect our majority! [[link removed]]
