CARRIE N. BAKER | On Tuesday evening, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed into law what will now be the nation's strictest abortion ban. The law prohibits abortions starting at the point of fertilization, and authorizes private citizens to sue abortion providers or anyone who assists someone obtaining an abortion, similar to Texas’s S.B. 8.
