Folks,

The tragedies that the American people have faced over the last two weeks have been immense. Angry and heartbroken, we, Virginia Democrats, are fighting for a way forward, a future where atrocities like those in Buffalo and Uvalde never happen again.

We have seen this hate too often, and many of the leaders on the other side of the aisle have done nothing. Some call for more guns in schools and some attend campaign fundraisers while first responders are actively searching crime scenes.

Virginia’s own Lt. Governor, Winsome Sears, is headlining an NRA fundraiser, in Texas - tomorrow.

Democrats around the Commonwealth have called on the Lt. Governor to do the right thing and cancel her appearance. Do you agree with other VADEMS that Virginia’s Lt. Governor shouldn’t headline a fundraiser for the nation's largest anti-gun-control group?
