Team – I couldn’t be more grateful.

Two days ago, Alabamians went to the polls on primary day, and the residents of the 7th district chose me as their Democratic nominee.

As Alabama’s only Democratic Congressperson, I know the responsibility I have to win. Rest assured, I’m going to give everything I’ve got to make sure this seat stays blue in November.

I’m not going to get complacent, team. Republicans are fired up, and they’d love nothing more than a GOP sweep in Alabama. Will you chip in $20 to my campaign and help ensure Alabama Democrats have a seat at the table in Washington?

There are three specific reasons why I’m concerned about 2022:

1. According to Politico, Democrats are projected to lose the House and the Senate this November.


2. I’m facing my first Republican opponent in nearly a decade because the GOP thinks they can compete in this race.


3. Republicans are spending BIG this election cycle in an attempt to flood the airwaves with lies about Democrats and what we stand for.

This election won’t be a walk in the park, and I’ll need all the support I can get. Please, can you chip in anything you can to help me win re-election and continue fighting for the residents of Alabama’s Black Belt in Congress?
