One of the most important programs we run at VoteVets is one that connects veterans to veterans directly via phone and text message.

Our VoteVets veteran volunteers talk to other veterans about disinformation. They talk about important races and issues.

And most importantly, they talk about getting out to vote.

For far too long, the word “veteran” was taken as synonymous with “conservative.”

That’s not an accident. That’s because conservatives prioritized organizing veterans. And it worked: Remember the “Swift Boat Veterans for Truth?”

Those days are over thanks to VoteVets.

But we cannot run this program alone:
