Dear John,
Throughout the month of April, VoteRiders celebrated its 10th anniversary with a National Voter ID Month of Action. Many states are passing more restrictive rules about what ID is needed to vote in person or by mail, making April a critical month for voters preparing to vote in primary elections this spring as well as the general election in November.

With dozens of in-person and virtual events across the country, VoteRiders set a new monthly record for number of voters assisted during a midterm election cycle: - 300+ voters assisted via our Voter ID Helpline and Chatbot
-
400+ voters assisted in person at Voter ID Clinics in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin – co-hosted with shelters, food banks, job fairs, and other community partners
- 1,000+ new volunteers trained
-
35,000+ letters sent to voters in our five target states for this month: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Texas and Wisconsin

|
Media outreach is an important part of our voter education efforts, and for our 10th Anniversary we made sure to put voter ID in front of more voters than ever, including: -
Public service announcements were viewed over 300,000 times in Galaxy movie theaters nationwide
- PSAs aired on 35 radio stations in Georgia, Florida, and Texas
-
Stories about VoteRiders and our Month of Action appeared on news media websites with more than 23 million unique monthly visitors.
-
Social media (including posts from Amy Schumer, Mark Ruffalo and Piper Perabo) generated 34.5 million potential impressions

|
Partner organizations have been a pillar of VoteRiders’ mission and success throughout our first 10 years, so we celebrated and engaged many of them this month as part of our anniversary celebrations: -
We organized training sessions for national and state-level partners including When We All Vote, Nonprofit VOTE, ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, Democracy Works, Mi Familia Vota, League of Women Voters, and Campus Vote Project.
- In April alone, our partners ordered 322,086 Voter ID Info Cards to distribute to voters over the rest of the election cycle.
-
Eight Mayors and one Governor recognized VoteRiders’ Voter ID Month of Action in official proclamations.

As VoteRiders now begins its second decade of service to voters, we are ever-grateful for all of the volunteers, partner organizations, and voters who shared in our National Voter ID Month of Action birthday celebrations and helped make the month such a success. If April is any indication, we’re on track for a blockbuster of a midterm year and can’t wait to keep the party going with all of you all year long! |

Thank you! Team VoteRiders
