Hey John,

Running a successful campaign doesn’t happen overnight. It requires gathering resources, organizing a team to spread our message, and getting folks out to vote. Honestly, it’s pretty tough work.

But I am no stranger to a challenge. Not only have I run for and won election in Hammond five times, but I am also a triathlete. In fact, I’ve learned training for a triathlon requires similar commitment and diligence as running for office.

My experience as a Navy scuba diver, biker, and runner have prepared me to become a triathlete — and my experience as Mayor of Hammond has prepared me to become a U.S. Senator. I have what it takes to run a race and win.

Unlike Todd Young, I have the strength and record to tackle the challenges that folks face every day instead of just campaigning on them and then doing nothing about them once in office.

Every day comes with its own challenges, but I am determined to keep our campaign in this fight until we cross the finish line and finally send Todd packing in November.

We’re going to need to shore up grassroots support to fight back against Todd’s expanding war chest, but our movement has what it takes if we work together to hit every deadline from now until Election Day in November.

So John, can you pitch in a contribution of any amount toward our campaign’s $10,000 end-of-month fundraising goal? Before next Tuesday’s midnight deadline, we need to show how much support I have standing behind me.

There are several critical issues at stake right now. Abortion is likely to be struck down by the hyperpartisan Supreme Court, and we need U.S. Senators who will always fight for our fundamental rights.

For too long, Indiana’s Senators have prioritized partisanship over people, but that will change come November when this grassroots movement sends me to the U.S. Senate to finally bring Hoosier interests to Washington.
