I’m so proud
of this movement.
This past month, we’ve made enormous progress in our fight to replace Rand
Paul and elect a real working-class champion to the U.S. Senate. Thanks to
your support we won our primary and Charles became the first Black U.S.
Senate Democratic nominee to win in Kentucky.
Together, we’re sending a loud message to the establishment, media, and
media pundits that a powerful grassroots movement is rising up in
Kentucky. Together, we are proving that Kentucky is more than just a “red
state.” Together, we’re showing the world that Kentuckians are hungry for
leaders who are willing to fight for bold solutions like Medicare for All
and student debt cancellation.
Our momentum is stronger than ever. But my job is to be
realistic:
There’s a long uphill battle still ahead of us to send Charles to the
Senate.
Rand Paul is the number #1 recipient of donations from the gun lobby this
year and his other billionaire friends are helping out to make sure Rand
can continue doing their bidding in the Senate.

poverty is a thing of the past.

attention of Rand Paul and his Republican friends in the Senate too. They
know if this momentum continues to grow — we have a real chance at
expanding our majority in the Senate and turning this swing state blue in
2022. And that terrifies them.
