Wild Salmon Center - Action Alert

Be a Hero. Back Bristol Bay!

Dear John,

These days are hard on hope. Sometimes the pain, frustration, and heartache out there has us doubting our power to make good things happen. Especially when year after year, we rally for change without seeing results.

Case in point: you’ve fought Pebble Mine with us for a long time. Long enough to wonder when, or if, we’ll close the book on this toxic project and the threat it poses to Bristol Bay, Alaska.

WE HAVE THE POWER TO END PEBBLE MINE --> [link removed]

Here's the good news: as of right now, the fate of the world’s greatest sockeye salmon fishery is in our hands. For the next 42 days, we have our best chance yet to save Bristol Bay and stop Pebble Mine. Through July 5, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is asking for YOUR comments on the 404(c) process that could end this zombie mine for good.

You’ve likely commented before. This time, your voice is every bit as important—if not more. We have just a few short weeks to show EPA that we're still standing strong with Alaskans and Bristol Bay residents. Can you take a moment to tell EPA to finish the job, once and for all?

Bristol Bay communities need closure and certainty about their future. Your voice can help make that happen. If we all contact the EPA right now—if we rally for one last push—we can end the threat of Pebble Mine, and save a fishery that literally feeds the world. Will you help us finish this long fight for Bristol Bay?

HELP US END PEBBLE MINE FOREVER --> [link removed]

This is our moment—right now—to show the world what’s possible when we refuse to back down.

Yours in solidarity,

Sam Snyder
