Friends —

The U.S. Supreme Court appears to be on the verge of overruling Roe v. Wade and turning back the clock on reproductive freedom.

I have always believed that every woman, regardless of where she lives, deserves the freedom to make her own, personal decisions about her health care, her family and her body. And I don’t think right-wing politicians have any business making those decisions for women.

I have been clear about what we need to do on the federal level. We need to protect equal access to safe and legal abortion care by federal law. On May 11, however, every single Republican Senator voted to block the passage of my legislation that would have done so.

If Roe is overruled and Congress fails to codify abortion rights, there’s a meaningful chance that Wisconsin’s abortion ban 19th century will be revived.

Fortunately, we have some fierce advocates for reproductive freedom in Wisconsin. That certainly includes Josh Kaul, who has pledged that Wisconsin Department of Justice resources will not be used to investigate or prosecute people for violations of Wisconsin’s abortion ban while he is Attorney General.

Josh has been a key leader in our fight to protect reproductive rights in Wisconsin, and it’s critical that we re-elect him this November.

Folks: Will you split a donation between Josh Kaul’s campaign and our work to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Wisconsin?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation will go through immediately:

Republicans have attacked Josh for the stand he’s taken against using Wisconsin DOJ resources to investigate or prosecute violations of Wisconsin’s abortion ban. And we can be sure there are more attacks yet to come.

Will you stand with a champion for reproductive freedom and chip in a split donation today to support Josh Kaul’s campaign for re-election?

These last few weeks have been incredibly difficult and disheartening, but folks, I’m not giving up. Abortion access is a fundamental right, and Josh and I will never stop fighting to protect it. Thanks for supporting us in that fight.

Thank you,

Tammy
