John,

This week, a gunman shot and killed at least 19 children and two adults
and wounded several more at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas—only
about a week after 10 people were viciously gunned down in a supermarket
in Buffalo, New York.

Our children and communities should never have to live in fear of these
attacks. Our country deserves better.

We must take action to end gun violence now. [ [link removed] ]If you make a contribution
to Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund, I will personally match it—and
triple it—from now until the end of the month.

Gun violence should not be a norm anywhere in the United States. But
thanks to our country's weak gun laws and the gun lobby's relentless guns
everywhere agenda, nowhere is safe.

Any elected official who says the only needed response is to arm more
people is dangerously wrong, cowardly beholden to the gun lobby, unable to
perform the most elemental public duty—protecting people's lives—and
unworthy of your vote. The safety of every community is on the line.
Elected officials need to know that their jobs are, too.

Your donation will help Everytown strengthen the grassroots organizing we
need to hold lawmakers in the pocket of the gun lobby accountable and push
for life-saving laws at every level of government.

We can't afford to allow another moment to pass without addressing our
country's gun violence crisis—and we need your help.

[ [link removed] ]Donate today to Everytown and I will personally triple match your gift
to end gun violence.

Thank you for being a part of this movement.

Sincerely,

Mike Bloomberg
