It’s been a difficult month. After the Supreme Court’s draft opinion was leaked, detailing the court’s decision to overturn the historic Roe v. Wade ruling, I’ve taken some time to think about what this means for us.

Armed with the knowledge that the Supreme Court intends to overturn Roe , I am confident that the GOP will implement a nationwide abortion ban if they seize control of the House majority in November. The consequences of this ban would be far-reaching and overwhelmingly dangerous for women everywhere.

This past month has shown us why elections matter. Our reproductive freedom is on the ballot in November and we need to fight like hell because we cannot afford to lose.
