Content warning: This email discusses deadly gun violence. There are no words. On Tuesday, a gunman walked into an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas and killed more than 21 people, including 19 children. Thoughts and prayers will not bring these children in Uvalde back. And it clearly won’t stop the next shooting. It never has. This is a policy problem, plain and simple. I’m here for serious policy conversations on this national disgrace. I’m done with moments of silence. I’m not doing it anymore. I refuse to be silent while children are killed.
