Dear John,
The last six months have laid bare the need for a new era of leadership in Washington.
For the duration of his term, our former congressman spent more time wooing big-money donors with extravagant California fundraisers than he did actually connecting with real working Nebraskans.
That’s why, for the last 17 years, our district has been left without any legitimate solutions to things like disparities in public school funding, inaccessible health care and excessive out-of-pocket medical costs, and exorbitantly high property taxes.
Patty’s new GOP opponent is playing from the same playbook as the last congressman. His growing list of dark-money donors proves that he’ll follow whatever stance the money tells him to.
John, there is far too much on the line this election to elect a leader who will leave Nebraskans in the dust as soon as a bigger dollar sign comes along. What our district needs is a representative who has proven that they’ll actually listen to our communities and uplift our voices (and values) in D.C. to enact the progress our communities deserve.
What our district needs is a leader like Patty Pansing Brooks.
Patty has stood with our community at every turn during her time in the Nebraska Legislature. She’s voted in accordance with the majority of Nebraskans who believe we should protect safe and affordable access to abortion, she’s led the fight to pass paid family leave in our legislature, and she’s fought to secure necessary resources for students across the district.
Meanwhile, the opponent votes for whichever conservative agenda his party elites tell him to support.
John, if you believe it’s time to finally send a leader to Congress who will represent the will of the people and guide our state with compassion, integrity, and a genuine understanding of our community’s issues, please chip in today.

Our district deserves better than another term of out-of-touch leadership. Patty Pansing Brooks is the clear choice this June.
