Just released: "HIV in Prisons, 2020 ? Statistical Tables" [ [link removed] ]

This report provides data on persons in the custody of state and federal correctional authorities who were known to be living with HIV in 2020. It presents national- and jurisdiction-level estimates of the number and rate of prisoners living with HIV while in the custody of state and federal correctional authorities. It also provides the number and demographic characteristics of state and federal prisoners who died of AIDS-related illnesses. Data on HIV testing practices by jurisdiction are also included.

Findings are from the National Prisoners Statistics program [ [link removed] ] and Mortality in Correctional Institutions [ [link removed] ] (formerly the Deaths in Custody Reporting Program) data collections.
