two women working in climate victory garden

Dear Friend,

Have you started your Climate Victory Garden?

If not, you still can!

Growing food and flowers can be part of the climate solution if done regeneratively.

And, it’s easy! Learn about the basics of gardening and tips for getting started

No matter where you live or how much space you have (even if you live in an apartment), your garden can be part of the movement of thousands of individuals across the country (and world!) who are gardening for the climate.

Climate Victory Gardens are having a real impact on the planet.

COMPOSTING IS COOL Webinar!

Are you curious about composting but not sure where to get started? Do you want to learn how at-home composting can benefit your garden? Have you ever wondered about curbside composting in your neighborhood?

Join us Wednesday, June 29th @ 3PM EST for our next Climate Victory Gardening webinar!

We'll be joined by Karl Schrass from Annapolis Compost.

Compost is a wonderful addition to our soils. It stimulates microbial activity that benefits plants, helps hold water in the soil, and provides nutrients plants need. In many cases, the compost we make at home can be higher quality than the stuff we get from the garden center and composting keeps food waste out of the landfill.

If you register for the webinar, you will receive a recording of the webinar. We will not answer emails requesting the recording.

Is it better to start with seeds or transplants?

It depends on your needs! Many Climate Victory Gardeners report using both seeds and transplants!  Learn more about the pros and cons of each in this graphic:

National Pollinator Week

June 20 - 26, 2022

National Pollinator Week is an annual event celebrated internationally in support of pollinator health. Your Climate Victory Garden does just that! It's a time to celebrate pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them.  Learn more here!

How does Climate Victory Gardening work?

We harness the power of plants and natural processes to pull carbon from the air and capture it in the soil where it belongs. Learn more about how it works

To ensure your garden has the biggest impact, use the Climate Victory Gardening practices, which help you maximize carbon capture and minimize climate impact.
