This is to let you know about some of Health Poverty Action’s upcoming events.

Launch of Global Health Watch 6 - Monday 30 May, 7pm (On Zoom or in person in London).

There are just a few days left until we come together with PHM-UK, PHM Scotland and Medact to launch the sixth edition of Global Health Watch [[link removed]] the definitive alternative voice on health.

We have a fantastic lineup of speakers including Dr Chiara Bodini, co-editor of Global Health Watch 6; Members of the Medact Research Network: Dr Annabel Sowemimo, sexual and reproductive health doctor and founder of Decolonising Contraception [[link removed]]; Dr Lauren Paremoer, University of Cape Town and member of PHM South Africa; and Members of the Medact Research Network.

Royal Parks Half Marathon – Sunday 10 October

London Marathon – Sunday 2 October

Looking for bigger challenge? Run the world-famous London Marathon with #TeamHPA. The 26.2 mile route encompasses some of London’s most iconic landmarks, offering you a unique opportunity to see the city’s historic sights from traffic-free roads. With an unbeatable race day atmosphere, the London Marathon really is something to tick off the bucket list!

It’s just £150 to secure your place, and £2,000 minimum to raise by November 2022, which helps some of the most marginalised people around the world realise their right to health. And to support you, we’ll be sharing fundraising and training tips right up until the big day!
