What we’re thankful for…

Each year, Pacific Legal Foundation represents hundreds of Americans free of charge when government stymies their ability to improve their lives. We give them their day in court to vindicate their rights and set a lasting precedent to protect every American.

But we never could do it alone. In addition to our amazing, courageous clients and donors, we’d like to offer our heartfelt gratitude for our allies and partners across the country who make it possible to defend liberty and justice for all.

Litigation partners

The Liberty Justice Center, for joining forces with us in Mike Jackson's First Amendment lawsuit against the University of California, San Diego, and the California Policy Center, who introduced us to Mike.

The Freedom Foundation, for serving as local counsel for Peggy Fontenot in her quest for economic liberty in Missouri.

The many individuals and groups who have supported our clients with friend-of-the-court briefs, especially Uri Rafaeli’s battle against Home Equity Theft at the Michigan Supreme Court, and Rose Knick’s ultimate property rights victory at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Policy partners

The Property and Environment Research Center (PERC), which joined PLF in urging the Supreme Court to protect landowners’ rights by allowing them to sue polluters who damage their land. PERC’s environmental approach and PLF’s property rights and administrative state expertise together make a compelling argument for the Supreme Court to consider.

Public education partners

The Yankee Institute for Public Policy, for connecting us with victims of unlawful race-based admissions at Connecticut which, in turn, has led to two federal lawsuits and an Atlas Network award-winning film, Quota. And Stand Together, for co-hosting a special screening of Quota at the State Policy Network's annual meeting.

Independent Women’s Forum, for featuring PLF attorneys on its recent podcast and highlighting our lawsuit challenging California’s discriminatory woman quota law for corporate boards.

The Conservative Partnership Institute, for co-hosting an event in DC to promote our report, “But Who Rules the Rulemakers? A Study of Illegally Issued Rules at HHS.”

Event partners

The National Review Institute, for co-hosting our annual Supreme Court preview, and the Cato Institute and Heritage Foundation for co-hosting numerous events with us in Washington, DC.

We’re grateful as well for our donors’ generous support, and YOU, for reading and sharing our work on Morning Docket.

Happy Thanksgiving from PLF!
