The first 24 hours after a mass shooting are among the most critical. We have to rise up and show our commitment to ending gun violence now, while all eyes are on this story. Will you rush a donation right now to help us pass life-saving legislation and end gun violence?
|
John, as we're all still reeling from the massacre at a Texas elementary school, I'll be honest: I am sick and tired.
I'm tired of offering condolences to the devastated families who had to go home last night to their children's empty beds. I'm tired of the moments of silence for yet another shooting — right after we held them for Buffalo, for Laguna Woods, and for so many others.
|
We don't need mournful silence. We need our leaders to get loud and get to WORK. But they've made it crystal clear they won't do anything unless we force their hand — and that's why I'm writing YOU today. John, Brady and I need your help to STOP this epidemic of gun violence.

There are 50 senators right now who refuse to vote on common-sense, life-saving legislation. Nobody I know is better at moving the needle and getting votes on these kinds of bills than the team at Brady. What they need from us, from you, right now is donations to power their work pushing for these bills and fighting to save more kids — more churchgoers, more grocery shoppers, all of us — from being shot and killed.
So I'm asking, not just as the son of a man killed by gun violence, but as somebody who wants us all to be able to live our lives without fear: Will you chip in now to help hit Brady's emergency goal, defeat NRA-backed politicians, pass gun safety legislation, and save lives?

Thanks for refusing to accept inaction.
