Did you see the email from Karen Farley about the loopholes in the government's proposed ban on single-use plastics (SUP)? We must send a strong message that what they are proposing is totally inadequate.

Karen is the GPC Shadow Cabinet Critic for Innovation and she knows a thing or two about SUP. Karen’s currently working towards a masters degree and her research focuses on consumer support for the elimination of SUP packaging in supermarkets, specifically food products. She is also the founder of an early-stage startup to support the shift away from SUP packaging of food. 

We need strong regulations to eliminate the use of SUP and we also need creative ideas for replacing plastic packaging with more sustainable solutions.

And we need Green innovators like Karen Farley elected to Parliament. I hope you will consider making a donation so that we can make that happen…
