Earlier today, I dropped my daughter off at school.
Before she gets out of the car, we always pray and say “I love you” to each other. As she walks in, she always turns to blow me a kiss.
Watching her walk into school was both crushing and infuriating.
As a father of three young girls, I am absolutely heartbroken for the families at Robb Elementary.
We can’t keep accepting inaction. We are not powerless, and thoughts and prayers aren’t enough.

For too long, Senators like Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell have made passing common sense gun reform in the Senate impossible because of their loyalty to the gun lobby donors that fund their obstruction in D.C.
Rand Paul himself has taken more money from the big gun lobby than any other Senate candidate this year.
Things must change, and I will do all I can to make that happen. Together, we will make sure there are real consequences to Rand selling us out.
