Friend, it’s my first official week on the ground with Dana’s campaign. We took some time off for Thanksgiving yesterday -- hope you were able to as well -- but now we’ve got some work to do to meet our end-of-month grassroots fundraising goal. We’re not quite there yet, and we could use your help.

I know I don’t have to tell you how important it is that we don’t fall behind. With the state of things in Washington, we need folks like Dana in Congress who will fight to ensure that every single person gets a fair shot. We’re in a strong position, but for us to continue to build our movement, we need investment from our supporters. We’re going up against big corporate PACs and special interests and simply can’t afford to fall short of our goal.

We’ve got a lot of work to do over the next year, and we can’t afford to fall behind. Right now, we’re $4,727 away from our goal, and we’ve got until midnight tomorrow to reach it. Here’s my ask: Will you do your part and give $5, $10, $24, or whatever you can to help us close that gap and meet this goal?

Even though it makes it harder to hit our fundraising goals, I’m proud that Dana isn’t taking corporate PAC money because all of us on this team know that our elected officials should work for the people -- not big-money donors.
