Nutrition And The Child Tax Credit
The Child Tax Credit was temporarily expanded between July and December 2021 as part of COVID-19-related federal policy
changes. A May 2022 article examines how this policy affected nutritional health.
Their findings suggest promise for the
public health impact of the child tax credit expansion on nutrition-related outcomes for children and their families.
The expanded child tax credit expired in January 2022. "Our findings may help inform policy discussion regarding the future of the [expanded child tax credit] and its specific provisions," Adams and coauthors write.
