Dear John,
Yesterday at the House Committee Hearing in Washington D.C., copper mining proponents spouted outright lies, blatant greenwashing, and misinformation about the threat of their proposed mine to the Boundary Waters. But we weren’t surprised by these cheap tactics.
That’s why we are in D.C. today with our team of policy experts and local leaders from Ely meeting with elected officials to debunk the lies of Antofagasta’s Congressional puppets while urging lawmakers to support the Boundary Waters Wilderness Protection and Pollution Prevention Act.
This bill is our chance to protect the Boundary Waters permanently, and we can do it THIS YEAR!
The majority of Minnesotans are on our side and are not willing to sell the Boundary Waters to the mining industry. But showing up in numbers matters in this fight, so take advantage of our limited time match opportunity to double your dollars for the Boundary Waters today. When you donate before Midnight TONIGHT, your contribution will be matched up to our $15,000 goal. [[link removed]]

Dangerous anti-Wilderness forces lurk. Chilean mining giant Antofagasta can pour millions of dollars into convincing Congress it’s ok to sacrifice the Boundary Waters for their profit. Don’t wait. Now is the time to go all in for the Boundary Waters. Make a 2X gift today. [[link removed]]
