Inaction isn't an option.

John–

Like so many of you, yesterday I was horrified once again as I learned of the heinous shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, where at least 19 children and two adults were murdered.

As a parent, as a person of faith, and as a human, I'm sick.

But we don't have to allow this carnage.

Right now in the Senate there are too many politicians who care more about the gun lobby and an industry that profits off of bloodshed than children being able to safely attend school.

Inaction isn't an option. It's past time these elected officials do their job—that's why we're calling on the Senate to take bold action to save lives. These people need to hear from everyone—send a message now to tell your senators to pass gun safety legislation.

This senseless tragedy came just after we mourned the tragedy in Buffalo, New York, where a white supremacist terrorized and killed people in a Black community in a racist act of violence.

I'm all for prayers, but every time these shootings happen too many politicians send ONLY thoughts and prayers as more violence devastates our communities. We need ACTION.

No more. We cannot normalize these tragedies. We cannot wait for more lives to be lost.

These latest tragedies confirm what so many of us know to be true: Thanks to cowardly elected officials who advance the whims of the deadly gun lobby and their guns everywhere agenda, NOWHERE is safe.

John, we need you to demand action from your senators. Send a message now to tell your senators to do their job and pass bold gun safety legislation.

Whether people are at school or at the grocery store—they shouldn't have to run for their lives.

Please take care of yourself and each other. Together, we can save lives.
