Dear Fellow Conservative,

I wanted to send a quick note thanking you for your vote, your support and your prayers. We ran a great race from the primary into the runoff, and while last night was certainly not the result we wanted, I have no regrets.

“Duty is ours, results are God’s” is not an empty slogan. Our family believes and embraces it. So, while we are certainly disappointed, we look forward to what the Lord has in store for us next.

Last night, I called Phil Sorrells to tell him congratulations and wish him well in the general election. We will do what we can to make sure he and the rest of the GOP ticket cross the finish line in November. There is too much at stake not to rally together and Keep Tarrant Red!

To my family (especially Jennie) and our incredible team and volunteers - THANK YOU!!! You have been amazing and I am sincerely grateful for all the time, talent, and treasure you have given us these last several months. You will never know how much we have appreciated it.

Once again - congrats to Phil! I encourage all my supporters to rally behind him.
