| The one thing that we don’t get back is time. And I know that for those of us on the campaign trail, that moniker rings true every single day. Month after month we set fundraising goals and some we hit, others we miss. The one thing I know is that we’ve only just six left in the 2022 campaign. Wow. I don’t know whether or not you’ve been keeping close tabs on my race, but I have to tell you that it all feels very real now that I have an opponent. And well, she’s about as far left as they come. Frankly, we’re in a time of political turmoil and upheaval and what America does not need is another partisan hack from the Left coast in Congress. We need a patriot who believes that while our country is certainly flawed, the best days of our republic are yet to come. I’m an eternal optimist and that’s definitely something I think we need more of in Congress: Optimism. We’re not pacing how we need to be in order to hit our goal of raising $97,000 online this month. I am writing to ask if you might be able to chip in $5 right now so we have a shot at hitting our goal – 6 DAYS FROM TODAY! If you email box is anything like mine, then I know you’re getting 18 other emails like this on a daily basis – but how many of the people asking you for help can actually flip a Dem district Republican? I really don’t want to miss our May goal. I wish I could just write my campaign a blank check, but I can’t so here I am asking for you to be generous today.
