Friend,
A few weeks ago, Dean sent out a survey asking what issues matter most to you right now. These are the priorities that came up again and again:
1️⃣ Climate action
2️⃣ Abortion rights
3️⃣ Campaign finance reform
4️⃣ Gun violence prevention
5️⃣ Health care
Here's a sampling of what folks from around the district had to say:
"Keep working across the aisle to get good things accomplished. Fight for our democracy, not a fundamentalist theocracy."
-Sharon in 55428
"I'm very upset about the possibility of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade. This just makes women 2nd class citizens. I know you are supportive of R v W, so thank you!"
-Pam in 55344
"Climate action is critical! We can not delay!! No time to waste! Spend as much as it takes to be useful."
-Paul in 55448
"Protecting our democracy and voting rights, and ending gerrymandering, MUST be a top priority!! Everyone MUST be able to vote in free and fair elections!!"
-Brad in 55369
To everyone who took the time to share what's on your minds: Thank you. Dean shares your priorities -- and he's working every day toward solutions that will bring enough people together from both sides of the aisle to make lasting change.
