We’re sure you’ve heard, but it can’t be overstated: we are on the imminent brink of the fall of Roe and the constitutionally protected right to abortion. In the coming weeks, the Supreme Court stands poised to wipe out the longstanding ruling, 50 years of precedent, and access to abortion for millions, including 26 states certain or likely to completely ban abortion when Roe falls. [1]
The threat is immediate and deadly. Now is the time to give all you can, however you can.
They will not stop at banning abortion on their march to enshrining fetal personhood in law. They are going after birth control, emergency contraception, standard medical treatments for ectopic pregnancies and miscarriage management, even in vitro fertilization. The consequences will be disastrous, and will impact people for years, decades, and lifetimes.
