Beyond Roe: The Fight for Our Future [[link removed]]

The Supreme Court will soon issue its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization . A decision to overturn Roe v. Wade —which the leaked majority opinion indicates the Court is poised to do—is devastating; for low-income women and disproportionately for women of color, the impact will be catastrophic. However the final opinion is written, the harm could extend well beyond abortion.
Make no mistake: We will not cede this fight.
We demand action from lawmakers—at all levels of government—who know the public is on our side. We will continue to press ahead in the courts. And we will work to forge stronger constitutional guardrails: jurisprudence that recognizes the fullest scope of reproductive autonomy under the law.
We invite you to explore the array of essays, audio and video content published here, describing the policy and legal paths forward. And we are proud to share and amplify the words, reflections and vision of many movement colleagues and allies.
We fight on—for reproductive health, rights and justice—together.

In May, we learned in a leaked draft opinion that the Supreme Court is expected to overturn Roe v. Wade — profoundly dismantling abortion rights in the U.S. Released in conjunction with our Beyond Roe project, experts explore why abortion is essential to the health of our democracy and society — and why democracy is essential to abortion, particularly given the alarming rates of maternal mortality and morbidity in the U.S.
