Yesterday, Chuck Grassley launched his first TV ad campaign against me.

Here’s why: Grassley knows I am the candidate that can and will beat him this November and finally, finally retire him after 47 years in Washington.

Thanks to grassroots donors like you, my campaign’s been up on the air for several weeks, and he’s seeing the polls move. The latest numbers show Grassley’s approval ratings falling off a cliff and me surging to only 3 points behind him!

With my military experience, rural northwest Iowa roots, and energy to achieve a more progressive Iowa, I’m the kind of candidate who can win with independents and even some pro-democracy Republicans. Grassley’s never faced a candidate like me before. And that’s why he’s going up on TV now in such a big way.

This is going to be just the first of many ads against us, and we MUST respond. We’ve set a $50,000 emergency rapid response fundraising goal, but the only way we’ll hit it and win is if grassroots donors like you give right now.
