Today, Representative McCollum’s Boundary Waters Wilderness protection bill was debated in a congressional committee, and if anything is to be learned from this hearing, it’s that the risk to the Boundary Waters is the greatest it’s ever been. 

Mining boosters came to the U.S. House hearing with lies and misinformation - which has the unfortunate potential to derail our effort to protect the Boundary Waters if we can't raise the voices of millions of people who want to see this Wilderness protected from destruction.
