John,
Today is Native American Heritage Day. In honor of this day and in responsibility to all Native people, we acknowledge that the Ms. Foundation for Women Headquarters is on *Lenape* and *Canarsie* land.
*From protecting our water to leading state and local government, Native women are feminist change-makers. *Native people are the embodiment of self-determination. Their cultures and traditions demonstrate the power of rejecting definitions of identity that don't belong in place of power and pride.
We know our movements are made up of an incredible cross-section of women who are leading the way into a more just world. *We celebrate and honor our Indigenous grantee partners and the Native community that continues to fight for a more justice even in the face of colonial violence.*
