1. Jared is one of just 5 members of Congress standing between Kevin McCarthy and the Speaker’s gavel, meaning ME-02 is a must-win district for the GOP establishment.
2. They’re targeting Jared with everything they’ve got. Outside groups have already spent over $2.5 million against Jared this election cycle so far – more than five times what they spent at this point last time around.
3. Our campaign’s pre-primary filing deadline is tomorrow, and the other side is going to pay close attention to the numbers that go public. We set a goal to raise $15,000 before then to show Kevin McCarthy and the GOP establishment that ME-02 isn’t up for grabs.
