Folks,

As a physicist and mathematician, I think a lot about time — and numbers.

Here are a few on my mind today: seven hours left for Arkansas voters to cast their ballots in today’s primary. 343 days since we launched this campaign and sparked a movement. And less than six months left to build an outreach and organizing effort that will win in November — when it looks like we’ll be up against Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

So here’s one more number for you: Please chip in $20 this Primary Day to help get out the vote and win this election so we can improve the lives of everyone in Arkansas.

All day long, I’ve been reflecting on last June 15, when we launched our campaign at a library in my hometown of Pine Bluff. It feels like yesterday. It also feels like ten thousand years ago — time moves in funny ways, but I’m sure November will be here in a blink of an eye.

At the beginning, I didn’t know what to expect. As an ordained minister who once worked for NASA and got a Ph.D. in urban planning from MIT, I’m not exactly a typical politician.

But these aren’t typical times. And in every corner of this great state of ours, I’ve heard one refrain time and time again: we need new leadership. Bold leadership. Leadership that doesn’t seek to divide, but instead strives to empower.

Arkansas has blessed me with so many opportunities. I’m running for Governor to bring those opportunities to everyone in our state.

Together, we can unlock the untapped potential across Arkansas and uplift urban, suburban, and rural communities alike.

I’m on a mission to bring preschool, broadband, and jobs (PB&J!) to every nook and cranny of our great state. I’m ready to keep fighting for our families. But I can’t do it alone.

Will you make a contribution of $20 or whatever makes sense for you today? Let’s build — and win — this campaign together.
