Before joining Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan's campaign, I was at EMILY's List, fighting on the front lines against the Republican assault on abortion rights. Now, with the Supreme Court poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, it's up to all of us to carry that fight forward.

Once the ruling is announced, Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan will be the last line of defense for abortion rights against our extremely anti-choice opponents.

I'm not going to mince words: This is going to be a hard fight. And now that the MN GOP has officially endorsed their statewide ticket, we have to prove that we're ready for it, which is why I'm asking for your help:

Will you donate before next Tuesday’s public fundraising deadline to show Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan you have their back? With exactly one week to go, we still have a lot of ground to make up to hit our $150,000 grassroots goal.

The stakes of this election could not be more clear. Just look at the last two and a half years. All across the country, we saw GOP governors risk the lives of the people in their state by downplaying the threat of COVID, spreading dangerous misinformation about vaccines, and baselessly advocating for unproven snake oil treatments. And if you think that couldn't have happened here, think again.

Our Republican-endorsed opponent is such a prolific spreader of COVID-19 misinformation that he faced bans from social media platforms Facebook and TikTok.

He’s doubled down on Donald Trump’s big lie and attacked voting rights, opposes attempts to combat climate change, wants to make it easier for dangerous people to get guns, and wants to ban abortion outright without exception for rape.

John, we’ve come way too far just to let this Republican Party drag us back to the fact-free politics of Donald Trump now. Pitch in anything that works for you today.
