NOVEMBER 29, 2019: A total of 165 million Americans plan to do some holiday shopping this weekend and some have already gotten started.[1] ([link removed])

A National Retail Federation (NRF) survey estimated that nearly 40 million Americans planned to shop yesterday, on Thanksgiving. Today, Black Friday, is the biggest shopping day of the weekend with 115 million shoppers. Another 100 million will take part on Saturday and Sunday and 65 million will take part on Cyber Monday.[1] ([link removed])

Many, of course, will shop more than once during this five-day weekend experience.

Sixty-five percent (65%) say the primary reason for shopping is that the deals are too good to pass up. Twenty-eight percent (28%) say it’s a tradition.[1] ([link removed])
