Team,
Baby formula shortages have caused needless stress for Colorado parents and guardians trying to keep their families healthy. The burden is even higher for families who rely on WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) who face restrictions on the brands they can use their benefits on. That’s why I introduced and passed The Access to Baby Formula Act, so families who rely on WIC can have unrestricted access to purchase food for their babies.
This legislation not only supports Colorado families as we address the shortage we’re currently facing, but will put guardrails in place to help WIC babies in the future.
As a father to three young women, the sleepless nights and anxious days of caring for an infant are not a forgotten memory. So when parents and guardians in Colorado made their struggles heard, I immediately got to work.
Folks like you made this legislation possible and I’ll never stop fighting for families in Colorado and nationwide.
Thank you,
Michael
P.S. Renewing the expanded Child Tax Credit and passing the The Access to Baby Formula Act are just a few of the ways I’m fighting for families and our next generation in the Senate. But I’m still a top target for the National GOP and their $150 million warchest. Pitch in a $10 donation to my re-election campaign today so I can build on the progress I’ve achieved for Colorado.
