Abortion rights are eroding right before our eyes. Roe could be completely overturned any day now – and abortion access is already extremely challenging for people in many parts of the country.

As we gear up to fight for the fundamental human right to access abortion, we must take this fight to a less defensive place. Playing defense has not worked for the abortion rights movement. If it did, we wouldn’t have these problems right now.
As we mourn the catastrophe of revoking abortion rights, our movement must also step forward with bolder, more inclusive work. Let’s consider this one:
Too often, people speak of abortion in the singular. This stigmatizes people who have had or will have multiple abortions.

A person often has capacity for pregnancy for more than 20 years of their life. In that time, it is completely reasonable that they might choose to have more than one abortion.
We firmly believe that only the person who is pregnant should have control over their reproductive choices. Join us in making that a reality.
