Hi John,

Does anyone really need more stuff?

This Black Friday — like every single day of the year — we're fighting the Trump administration's assaults on wildlife, critical habitat and the laws that protect our air and water.

We've sued Trump about once a week since he took office. That's 175 lawsuits so far, and we won't quit until people, wildlife and wild places are safe from him.

This is the perfect day to give a gift to the wild. Every donation to our Endangered Species Act Protection Fund will be doubled.

Our legal actions have been fierce and relentless. We've filed twice as many legal actions against the Trump administration as other groups many times our size. And we've won the lion's share of those that have concluded.

But threats remain.

No president has protected fewer species at this point in his administration than Trump — and hundreds are still waiting on a decision.

With the lethal combination of the extinction crisis and climate emergency, there's no time to wait. That's why we launched a suit this month to force a decision on federal protection for 274 species, one of the largest suits ever under the Act.

We've gone to court for Trump's inaction on red wolves, of which just 14 survive in the wild. We've sued the administration for not protecting Humboldt martens, and for failing to protect Hawaiian waters contaminated by plastic pollution.

As long as the government keeps hanging wildlife and habitat out to dry, we'll keep going to court to fight back.

And we're determined to win. In the past year we secured endangered species protection for the Barrens topminnow and Southern Mountain caribou and won legal victories on behalf of the elfin-woods warbler, Rio Grande cutthroat trout and 14 other imperiled species.

We're in court now fighting for the Endangered Species Act, the bedrock environmental law that has saved 99% of the species under its protection, which Trump has gutted.

It's the gift that will keep on giving — every lawsuit, every court order, every legislative victory and direct action against Trump will be carried out with your support. With your help we won't stop.

Your gift today to the Endangered Species Act Protection Fund will be doubled.
