Kia ora John,
Campaigning for the by-election campaign here in Tauranga Moana is well underway, and I really enjoyed our first candidate’s debate last night. It was great to talk about the progress Labour's made for the people of Tauranga since 2017, and share a perspective from inside Cabinet with the audience.
Labour’s wonderful volunteer teams have really stepped up to support me. We've got phone calling teams up and running and great visibility across the city, too. And the first of our big, bright digital billboards launched yesterday. I may be biased, but I think it looks great!
That’s why I’m emailing actually, John. Can you help me get Labour’s message out this by-election? If you're local and keen to volunteer, just reply to this email and we'll set you up. If you're not in Tauranga, the best way to support our campaign is to donate.

John, can you donate to support my Tauranga by-election campaign?
YES, I'LL DONATE <[link removed]>Honestly, every little bit helps us gear up for election day in just a few short weeks. If we raise just $50, it gives us the option to put up another roadside hoarding. $350 can get our radio ads on air on another station. And $1,000 could help grow our digital billboard campaign.
We may not have won Tauranga in a long time, but it's so important we grasp this opportunity to promote Labour's values in New Zealand's fastest growing city.
Thanks so much for your support.
Ngā mihi,
Jan Tinetti
