Friend, the 2019 elections may be over,* but our work is far from finished. We have less than a year left to finish the electoral fight to achieve fair maps in 2021. That means:
|
➣ |
We have to make investments in NINE states. |
|
➣ |
We have to get on the ground and determine the state of play. |
|
➣ |
Oh, and we have to do it all with right-wing powerhouses like Scott Walker and The Wall Street Journal attacking us at every stage. (Seriously, their obsession is getting embarrassing.) |
The fight for 2020 -- the final year that will determine who draws the maps -- starts now. We’re setting an ambitious $75,000 end-of-month goal, and I’m asking for your help to reach it.
And here’s the other thing we’re dealing with: Everybody and their brother is going to be hyper-focused on the presidential election next year. And yes, that election is an “existential election,” as A.G. Holder likes to say.
But that makes it even more important that folks who understand how important state and local races are -- like you, friend -- invest in winning them.
By this time next year, the 2020 election will be over. Will you help us make sure we did everything we could to make the next decade’s worth of maps fair?

* A 2019 Texas state House election that we invested in will be going to a runoff in January. Help us win this race and others in our target states!
