Allow me to introduce myself.

Dear Friends,
My name is Christy Holstege and I’m proud to have Project ID Action Fund’s endorsement of my campaign for California State Assembly, District 47. I’m a social justice attorney, community organizer, Palm Springs City Councilmember, and former Palm Springs mayor. Ballots have already gone out and Election Day is quickly approaching on June 7th so I need your help.
I’ve dedicated my legal career to helping our most vulnerable populations, including fighting for tenants facing eviction, victims of discrimination, disabled clients, domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, low-income workers, local non-profits, and homeless individuals.Â
I understand the necessity of having government-issued photo ID and how difficult it is for people like my clients and many of my constituents to obtain ID. That’s why I’m motivated by the work of Project ID Action Fund.Â
As an Assemblymember, I’ll continue to fight to:
- Â Â Â Reduce homelessness
- Â Â Â Ensure every Californian has access to quality healthcare
- Â Â Â Fully fund public schools and lower barriers to college
- Â Â Â Help local businesses create jobs that pay a living wageÂ
- Â Â Â And more.
In order to obtain access to the services I am fighting for our community to have, people need IDs. I will continue to collaborate with amazing organizations like Project ID Action Fund, who make obtaining housing, medical care, schooling, and employment possible through their mission.Â
With the primaries right around the corner, we need to make sure our outreach team has the funds to continue calling voters and knocking on doors. Will you help keep up the fight by contributing to my campaign?Â
